MISSION STATEMENT

Latino Communications (LCCDC) is a community based, non-profit designated 501(c)(3) organization. 

We help to bridge the gap and remove barriers created by language, culture and economic differences. 

VISION STATEMENT

To help low-moderate income families achieve financial stability and independence through financial literacy education, job training and home-ownership workshops. We also seek to strengthen families and the greater community through arts and cultural, family-friendly events, at-risk youth intervention programs and faith-based outreach activities.

LCCDC was formed under the laws of the State of South Carolina as a charitable, community based, not-for-profit in February 2010. LCCDC has an IRS 501(c)3 designation, is Certified through HUD, South Carolina Department of Commerce, State Housing Finance and Development Authority, State Association of CDC’s, Governor’s Office of Small & Minority Business, Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business, 8a pending.

LCCDC is an equal opportunity housing provider, adhering to the spirit and intent of these laws and regulations. The Board Chairperson is Manny Aviles, Vice-chair is James Shadd, Secretary is Michelle Harris and the President and Executive Director is Tanya Rodriguez Hodges.
